What skills and experience we're looking for
Do you enjoy working with children? Do you have the skills to support their learning and development? Are you looking for a fresh challenge or next step in your career? We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individualto join our support staff team working as a Teaching Assistant in class and with individual SEN pupils.Part time applicants will also be considered.
We are looking for someone who is creative, well organised, a good communicator and willing to contribute to the whole school community. Willingness to plan and work closely withteachers, otherstaff and outside support agencies is essential. The role of MSA at lunchtime is included.
We are looking for:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A great team player
- Someone who has a vested interest in supporting children with differing educational needs
- Experience with children with ASD desirable but not essential
- A sense of humour!
- Experience of working with children with SEND but this is not essential
