Teaching Assistant job summary
Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, for a fixed term period from 6 January until 22 July 2025, working part time, 30 hours per week.
Responsible for supporting children within our autism base to access learning, you will be able to form positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and work well as part of a team. Our ideal candidate will have experience with speech and language / children with English as an additional language and attention autism interventions.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
- Has experience of working in a primary setting
- Can work proactively and use initiative, able to respond to the children’s individual needs
- Has good behaviour management skills
- Is calm and patient
- Believes that every child can succeed
