Salary: Combined Grade 5 (starting point 11) and Grade 2 (starting point 2)

Hours: 19 hours on Grade 5 and 6.25 hours on Grade 2

Contract type: Fixed term until 31/08/2027

Reporting to: Executive Headteacher

Location: English Bicknor C of E Primary School in the first instance. This is an appointment to the Trust and you could be required to work in any school in the Trust

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils in their learning journey.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist in delivering engaging lessons.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support.

• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Support children’s social and emotional development.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Demonstrates strong numeracy and literacy skills.

• Has a sound understanding of teaching phonics.

• Effectively supports children’s learning and progress.

• Promotes positive behaviour management strategies.

• Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

• Works collaboratively as part of a team.

• Communicates effectively with both children and adults.

• Is committed to the Christian ethos of our school.
