What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a positive and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join the team at Old Buckenham Primary School on a permanent basis. The role will be as a 121 Sen Support Assistant.
Duties will include running specific group and/or 1:1 programmes and activities to assist pupils’ individual learning, medical and social needs, including during lunchtimes. Experience with provisions expected at SEND Support including paediatric first aid are desirable, but not essential, and training will be provided for the successful candidate. The 1:1 SEN Support Assistant will also be responsible for implementing quality first teaching strategies in lessons for students with SEND, in liaison with the SENDCo, class teachers and Learning Support Team.
