Teaching Assistant job summary
Applications are warmly invited for the role of Teaching Assistant. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a genuine care and passion for making a difference to the lives of the students we serve. This role is to provide specific support to individuals or groups of young people in facilitating their learning and personal progress, promoting the achievement of high standards and supporting them in reaching their personal goals.
We welcome applications from candidates willing to work from 8.15am-2.50pm Monday to Friday, School term time plus 1 week (39 working weeks); equally applications are invited from individuals wishing to work fewer hours/days.
The successful applicants will join a team of teaching assistants, promoting inclusion and supporting teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups of students under the direction of teaching staff and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan.
