What skills and experience we're looking for

Five Lanes Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational, motivating and creative individual to the role of Teaching Assistant, this role will have additional MDSA duties.

The TA role will involve providing strong academic support to pupils. They will work with a supportive staff team to nurture children and promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate respect for the school’s ethos and provide a positive environment of learning and growth for the students.

Main Duties:

• Work well as part of a collaborative team

• An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults alike;
• an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly efficient person;
• able to use own initiative with excellent time management skills;
• supportive, hardworking and able to work as part of a team;
• willing to contribute to the overall ethos, work and Christian aims of the school;
• A flexible member of staff with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour!
