Teaching Assistant for Children Looked After (CLA) job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with responsibility for Children Looked After to join our Inclusion team. This role is focused on supporting young people who are looked after, or previously looked after, to enable them to learn and thrive, both within the classroom and the wider school community. As the TA for CLA you will work with teachers and TAs across the school, and be the child’s representative in meetings with professionals.
The successful candidate will need the ability to listen to, and support, students who have had traumatic starts to their lives. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, and relish the challenge of working in the educational environment.
