This is an opportunity to join Four Acres Academy, a thriving, supportive schoolat the heart of the community.We are seeking a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic, supportive and dedicated team.

We need a dedicated and skilled person to provide general and SEN Support for our pupils. The role includes preparation and administrative support for teachers, classroom support for groups and individuals and delivering interventions to small groups of pupils with SEND, including phonics, fine motor skills, reading and maths interventions and speech and language support. The post is 5 days per week, 8.30 am-3.30 pm.

Further information about the role will be discussed at interview.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a great deal of enthusiasm and can motivate and inspire all pupils to engage in learning
  • Have excellent communication skills and build positive relationships with children and colleagues
  • Be flexible, proactive and positive
