Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and talented team at Frome Vale Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
This role is offered on a Fixed Term Contract ending 31/8/21.
Term Time Only + 5 inset days.
5 days per week hours as follows;
8.30am to 12.15pm Mon to Thursday and 8.30am to noon on a Friday
What we are looking for:
Our Teaching Assistants support the educational, personal and social development of designated students under the direction and guidance of the Principal, SENCO, Inclusion Lead and class teachers. They support students to enable them to access the curriculum, completely engage with their learning and achieve their full potential. They deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as social and emotional well-being. This role will be supporting an SEN child with high needs for 1 hour per day together with another adult and the rest of the time spent in class support with small groups.

Frome Vale Academy, a small, vibrant primary Academy based in Downend, benefits from being part of a leading Multi-Academy Trust, the Cabot Learning Federation.
