Are you a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for an exciting challenge?
Horton Lodge School are recruiting now for teaching assistants to support our wonderful pupils to reach their highest potential. Horton Lodge is a primary age special school which caters for pupils with a range of complex special needs and disabilities. These include physical disabilities and cognition and learning needs. Many of our pupils have others needs including communication and interaction, sensory impairments and medical needs.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Have experience of, or demonstrate a good understanding of, working with children with disabilities.
- Be able to relate well to children and adults.
- Have high expectations for all pupils.
- Work well on own initiative and as part of a wider team.
- Contribute to wider school life.
