Actual starting salary Grade 5 £11,232 - £12,401pa (FTE* = £20,043 - £22,129pa)
We are seeking to appoint for September 2022 a Teaching Assistant Grade 4 or 5 for our outstanding secondary school. The main purpose of the role, under the general supervision and direction of the teacher, is to plan and implement learning activities for individuals and groups. To monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils parents and carers.
The ideal candidate will need to be:
- a team player,
- patient,
- compassionate,
- use their own initiative,
- focussed upon progress,
- reflect the ethos of the school,
- willing to learn but also have knowledge of SEND
• experience of supporting pupils with additional needs.
