What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and talented Learning Assistant to join us at Brunts Academy on a permanent, full time term time basis.

The role:

The ideal Learning Assistant will reinforce the excellent work of the teaching staff by supporting individuals or small groups both within and outside of the classroom environment. You will be a professional role model to the pupils, with the confidence to challenge and the creativity to motivate.

To be successful you must have:

  • excellent communication skills
  • the ability to provide support that is second to none
  • experience of working with young people or children (SEND experience would be advantageous)
  • first rate team working skills
  • a professional approach and high personal standards
