Teaching Assistant job summary

Are you caring, reliable, flexible and fun?  Do you love working with children?

We are looking for an inspired and enthusiastic TA to join our strong, friendly and motivated team of EducationSupport Staff at Harnham C of E Junior School.    You will be responsible for providing learning support for children throughout the School.

We are looking for someone:

·        Who is energetic, positive, resilient, creative, flexible, and has a great sense of humour.

·        Is creative and can motivate children and colleagues.

·        Is able to support children’s well-being and emotional learning.

·        Is calm, patient and organised.

·        Has excellent communication skills;

·        Is able to play a vital part in a welcoming and professional team.

·        Can administer basic first aid (training will be provided).

Ideally you will:

·        Have good general skills at dealing with children and;

·        Have the ability to learn and apply support techniques and develop your skills and experience.

·        Be calm, patient and flexible.

The post is from 12pm until 3.15pm Monday to Friday
