Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled individual to join our fantastic team at Helston Community College. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have a passion for helping children to achieve their full potential in a team which values creativity, innovation and commitment, focusing on enabling children to learn well in engaging ways.

The successful applicant will have previous experience of working with children, ideally in a classroom environment and will have good educational qualifications (5 A*- C GCSEs). You will take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of assigned students, and should have good listening and communication skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.
