Heron Park Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. We offer excellent training opportunities and a supportive work envirnoment.
Classes are organised in year group teams, and there is an expectation that support staff operate in a responsive way, according to the needs of the children. This may include working with individual children or small groups, and acting as a classroom scribe during lessons, particularly around the Primary Writing Project.
A good level of maths and English is required, and training and support will be provided to ensure that the successful candidate is able to thrive in our dynamic teaching and learning environment.

We are a primary school situated on the outskirts of Eastbourne. We are part of the Aurora Academies Trust. The school is 2 form entry with a Nursery and educates up to 450 pupils.
