Heron Park Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. We offer excellent training opportunities and a supportive work envirnoment.

Classes are organised in year group teams, and there is an expectation that support staff operate in a responsive way, according to the needs of the children. This may include working with individual children or small groups. Knowledge of Daily Supported Reader and Read Write Inc would be preferred but not essential as training can be provided. The role will also include covering whole classes.

A good level of maths and English is required, and training and support will be provided to ensure that the successful candidate is able to thrive in our dynamic teaching and learning environment.
