Unity Education Trust are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our education team at Highgate Infant school to start immediately.
We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant with experience and skills supporting KS1 children. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher and other teaching assistants, assisting the children in their work and play, supporting with pupil behaviour and establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.
Please note that the role does involve some regular physical activity e.g. supporting intimate care, interacting with students through play on the floor and responding promptly to escalated situations. This does not remove our obligation to make adjustments where appropriate.
