Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant which may involve working with SEND pupils. We are looking for candidates that are hardworking, dedicated, and enthusiastic about children’s achievement. We are also looking for candidates who have a passion and desire to accelerate the progress and raise the achievement of all our children.
Essential educational requirements
GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English and Mathematics or equivalent
Essential qualifications
Hold a NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or other relevant qualification in nursery work or childcare
Essential skills and experience
Experience of working with children and young people aged between 4-11
Experience of working in a Primary School
Experience of working with parents
Experience of working as part of a team in a supportive and professional way
Able to establish professional relationships with others
Able to plan and prioritise in a flexible and informed way
A belief in the importance of effective and inclusive communication with children using a range of verbal and non-verbal techniques
