Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge in the New Year? Are you passionate about working with children with SEND? Are you able to adapt learning to ensure all children are able to access their education? If so, Hooe Primary Academy has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you! We are looking to appoint a high quality Teaching Assistant to support our fantastic children with EHCPs on a 1:1 basis. The Teaching Assistant will be committed to providing an imaginative and stimulating learning environment for our SEND children.
Hooe Primary Academy is seeking a candidate that will go the extra mile for our children and the community.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working within a primary school setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate about SEND
- Experience working with children with SEND
- Experience implementing positive behaviour strategies
- Passionate about teaching and learning
- GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C or above and be able to illustrate good literacy and numeracy skills
- NVQ2/3 or equivalent qualification or be working towards the qualification

We are a one form entry school within Hooe which was established in 1926. We have a fantastic school site with three playgrounds, a large school field, and additional classroom spaces which are used for a range of activities.
