Teaching Assistant
Temporary for 1 year.
Salary Range B3 £12, 213.
27 Hours per week - term time only
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, dedicated and capable Teaching Assistant to support the teaching and learning of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the Key Stages in a mainstream, high achieving secondary school. Please note this is a temporary role for 1 year in the first instance with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
Applicants should have proven experience of working in a school environment and should have a good working knowledge of SEND. The ability to support GCSE Maths would be an advantage. The successful candidate will join a team of supportive and professional staff who are intent on providing the best learning opportunities for all children and will work under the guidance of the classroom teacher/SENCO to support personal and educational development of the students
