Teaching Assistant job summary
For September 2022, we are looking for a creative, dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to take on this role in school.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is able to support the learning needs of all children
• is passionate about teaching and learning, genuinely enjoys being with children and
is able to motivate and inspire children and colleagues;
• Understands that some children have extra needs and is able to adapt learning to support their needs;
• is able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills; works well in a team and can form positive relationships with staff, children and parents;
• maintains high standards of behaviour management but can adapt for children with behavioural needs;
• Believes in a nurturing approach
• Supports children at playtimes and dinnertimes with their play and social interactions
• Is flexible, positive and resilient with a sense of humour
• Has GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
