Teaching Assistant
Location: Kempston Academy, Bedford
Contract: 30 - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary: Level 2 Point 4-5 £14,800 - £18586 (dependant on hours)
Kempston Academy recently joined The Chiltern Learning Trust in May 2022, an outstanding and progressive multi-academy trust in Luton and Bedfordshire with currently 15 schools. Kempston Academy is a rapidly improving and growing secondary school in Kempston. We have 811 students in Years 7 – 13 and were rated GOOD by OFSTED in 2018. We are very proud to serve the local community and our vision is to create a school that everyone is proud of, and one which inspires individuals, enables success, and provides opportunities for all.
We are looking to appoint a skilled and energetic Teaching Assistant to join our ambitious SEN department. Under the supervision of the class teacher, you will undertake a range of teaching activities and interventions with individuals, groups of students or whole classes. You will join a supportive and committed team.
