Are you a caring, enthusiastic and committed individual looking to make a real difference in children's lives?

Kempston Rural Primary School, nestled in the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside, is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a fixed-term position until 31st August 2026, with the possibility of extension.

You will work closely with class teachers and the senior leadership team to support pupils in class, deliver targeted interventions, and provide small group and 1:1 support for children with a range of needs and disabilities. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with proven SEND experience, confident in supporting pupils through bespoke learning plans while fostering inclusion in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have Early Years expertise, be comfortable working 1:1, and demonstrate unconditional positive regard in every interaction.

We offer a well-resourced, creative setting with a strong ethos of inclusion, high expectations, and a commitment to excellence.

All our support staff are allocated a wellbeing afternoon off per term.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-3:15pm

Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm

(32 hours per week)

Potential for additional hours on Fridays until 3:00 pm
