Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Maternity Cover x2)
Position 1: To start ASAP (fixed term contract until August 2024)
Position 2: To start January 2024 (fixed term contract until January 2025)
Hours: 37 Hours, term time only (39 weeks) fixed term contract
Salary: FTE £24,150 - £25,500 (actual £20,745 - £21,905)

Kettering Science Academy requires a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will have expertise working with students with a range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will be required to work one-to-one, in small groups as well as supporting other students within the school. They will be a well-motivated and compassionate individual capable of working both as part of a bigger team and independently. The successful candidate will join a supportive and friendly team and be experienced in supporting the delivery of the curriculum.
You will be responsible for promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students and show awareness of complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection.
We will consider applications from candidates who are currently Level 2 Teaching Assistants and willing to work towards their Level 3 qualification.
