What skills and experience we're looking for
The leadership team are looking for a Teaching Assistant wishing to make a real difference in our Lower Key Stage 2 phase. Interested candidates must be fully committed to providing high quality learning for our children and who will support the school’s core aim to raise levels of attainment and increase the rate of pupil progress.
The successful candidates will:
- have high expectations of pupils and themselves
- be keen to work as part of a passionate and committed team
- have a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- have previous experience of working with primary aged children
- be expected to carry out lunch duty and deliver clubs as part of the role

Byron Primary School is a large primary school in the heart of Gillingham. The school became an academy in January 2016 as part of The Westbrook Trust and works very closely with the schools in the Multi Academy Trust for the benefit of pupils and staff.
