We are looking to welcome a new member to our friendly team in the role of a Teaching Assistant working primarily with SEND pupils as 1:1 support.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupilswithin the classroom
  • Providing pupil specific interventions linked to SEN & EHC targets
  • Building a working partnership with the parents/carers of key pupils
  • Contributing to progress meetings regarding the pupil(s) supported
  • Supporting pupils well-being needs

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to personal and professional development
  • Has experience of supporting pupils with well-being and mental health needs (ELSA)
  • Has aspirational beliefs for all children
  • Able to demonstrate or be willing to learn strategies to support pupils with SEND needs
  • Can work collaboratively as part of a team
