Knowle Primary School have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, dedicated and creative Teaching Assistant, to join our outstanding team and make a difference in children’s lives. The successful Teaching Assistant will be enthusiastic, a good team player and committed to supporting the learning of pupils.

This is a temporary position to backfill the substantive post holder. It will end upon the return of the post holder.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be committed to supporting pupil’s learning and to help pupils surpass their expectations. Knowle Primary School are seeking candidates that will go the extra mile for our children and the community.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

Have experience of working within a primary school or early years setting

Can build relationships with and nurture pupils to enable positive educational outcomes

Experience implementing positive behaviour strategies

GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C/4 or above

Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working

NVQ2/3 or equivalent or working towards the qualification is desirable
