Teaching Assistant - KS1 job summary

KS1 Teaching Assistant - Temporary until July 2022

The person appointed will be based mainly in Year 2. This position is for 27.5 hours a week, working from 8:40am until 12pm and 1pm until 3:10pm (with an allocated break) Monday to Friday, term time only.

In addition the person appointed may have the option to work from midday until 1pm as a lunchtime supervisor, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The successful candidate will be expected to work very closely with the class teachers and to take part in any appropriate staff development. We have an induction policy in operation which is designed to help new members of staff settle into the school and to inform them about the procedures and policies.

The post will be paid at an hourly rate of £9.30. The duties will be in accordance with the job description which is attached.
