Teaching Assistant

NJC Scale: Level 2B (Points 3–5) £15768 - £16297 per annum, term time only plus 5 training days

30 hours per week - Monday to Friday: 8.45am to 3.15pm (including 30 minute lunch break and 30 minute lunch duty)

Sundon Lower School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work across the school as part of our dedicated professional team.

This role will include working with children in class, as well as supporting children through interventions. Our children are looking for a kind, caring and supportive person who will support them in their learning as well as pastorally in all aspects of their lives.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate experience of working with children and have a commitment to promoting equality and diversity. The ideal candidate must be resilient, patient and have good communication skills. They will be required to work as part of a team and use judgment and common sense.
