TEACHING ASSISTANT
LEARNING SUPPORT
36 hours per week / term time only (including 5 Training Days)
Required for January 2024
Level 2
Point Range 3 - 6 (depending on experience) £20,812.00 - £21,968.00 pro rata
(Actual salary range will be £17,631.00 - £18,611.00)
Hours of
work: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.15pm & Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm
(30 minute lunch break)
Term Time Only plus 5 training days
We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support our Learning Support
department. The successful applicant will work alongside the
teaching staff in supporting SEND students in lessons or on a one to one basis
when students are withdrawn from lessons. We are particularly interested in candidates who are confident supporting in Maths.

Disclosure and Barring and qualification checks have been successfully
completed and satisfactory references have been received. Redborne is committed

Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant
campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent
examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining
Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with
over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About
80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students
get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in
a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The
campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre with a classroom block and
Sixth Form social area. In the next few years the school is likely to expand to
1,700 with 500+ in the sixth form.
