What skills and experience we're looking for

We currently have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and conscientious Teaching Assistants Level 1 to join our team at Chorlton High School in September 2023.

The role is working 30 hours per week, term-time only plus five additional training days. The post is a Grade 2, the starting pro-rata salary is £15,343 and the full time equivalent is £20,812.

Main purpose of the job:

To support access to learning and provide general support for the school in the management of pupils and resources, as directed by senior staff.

To work collaboratively with all staff and parents in order to support pupil wellbeing and to promote the five outcomes of Every Child Matters

Key relationships:

All members of staff (Teaching, Safeguarding team, Pastoral team, SENCO, SLT), students, governors, and parents.
