Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Health professionals all work with Teachers and Teaching Assistants to support pupils’ individual development. We have a host of therapeutic facilities on site such as a soft play, sensory room, IMAX suite, gym and therapist rooms.
We are seeking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our well-established team. The post is permanent, 35 hours a week, Term Time only + 5 Inset days and additional SEN point as part of your salary.
The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a team as well as being able to use initiative when appropriate. You will be expected to work with pupils of all ages and to undertake all activities as required during their time at the school.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the class in the management of pupils. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the normal teaching area, which may include swimming, riding for the disabled etc.
We will provide you with excellent working facilities, access to training and support with induction to the school.
