What skills and experience we're looking for

Kingsway Community Trust wishes to appoint highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to work on a one to one basis, in and out of class to each support a child with complex SEND needs who needs in class support to access the curriculum. The role will be based at Green End Primary School on a temporary contract, for as long as the named pupil remains in the school or in the event that their EHCP funding changes.

The successful candidates will have experience of working in a school setting with pupils with Special Educational Needs. They will be strong communicators who are nurturing, patient and positive individuals. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Strong literacy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.

First stage assessment date: 9 July

Second stage interview date: 11 July
