Teaching Assistant Level 1 - SEN Support job summary
Ladybarn Primary wishes to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to work in and out of Reception class to support an individual child with learning and pastoral needs on a one to one basis. The contract will be until the named pupil leaves the school or in the event that their EHCP funding changes.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a school setting with pupils with Special Educational Needs. They will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Strong literacy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.
Level 1, Grade 2 £18,516 pro rata, 18 hours per week, term time only equates to apx £8,163 per annum. Hours of work: 9.00am until 12.30pm.
First stage assessment: 17 June
Second stage/Interview: 22 or 23 June
This position is subject to 2 professional references and DBS clearance.
