Teaching Assistant - Level 1 job summary
THE ELLAND ACADEMY, (role is based at our primary provision in Knottingley)
The Elland Academy are seeking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant with SEN responsibilities to join us in February 2020 at our Primary provision in Knottingley. You will work under the direct instruction of teacher/support staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You will work with children with SEMH.
Salary: Grade C points 4 - 6 (£18,426 - £19,171 Full time equivalent) pro rata
Hours: Permanent / 32.5 hours per week/ 5 days/ 39 weeks (term time only plus five days)
