Teaching Assistant - Level 1 job summary
Willows Academy are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join us on a temporary basis in February 2020. You will work under the direct instruction of teacher/support staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Salary: Grade C points 4 - 6 (£18,426 - £19,171 Full time equivalent) pro rata
Hours: 30 hours per week/ 5 days/ 39 weeks (term time only plus five days) / Temporary until 31st August 2020

We have been on a huge journey of improvement from being in Special Measures, prior to converting to be an academy, to receiving our first ‘Good’ grading in 2015, which we retained during our Section 8 Inspection in March 2019.
