What skills and experience we're looking for

This role will have a strong focus on reading and phonics support, therefore the successful candidate will have experience in reading and phonics success. They should be enthusiastic, keen to work in partnership with teachers and able to work under instruction as well as having the ability to use their initiative. They will be required to contribute to the educational and social development of children. They should have the ability to build excellent relationships with adults and children and work as part of our whole school team. You will have good literacy and numeracy skills and experience.

What the school offers its staff

Our school offers an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our wonderful, friendly and dedicated team at Rivelin Primary School. This will be working Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch break. It is a temporary role until 23rd July 2025.

Visits around school are warmly welcomed and available on the following dates:

Tuesday 4th June at 3.30pm

Thursday 13th June at 9am

Wednesday 19th June at 9am
