What the school offers its staff
We amalgamated in 2014 to become The Grange Primary School. With a wealth of knowledge and experience between the staff, we provide a safe, happy, caring and stimulating learning environment with ‘the child’ at the core of all that we do.
Our Headteacher is a Local Leader of Education, a Pupil Premium Reviewer and a practising Ofsted Inspector. She also holds the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers, a Masters degree in Leadership and Management and has the Primary Executive Headship qualification. As a Pupil Premium Reviewer, the Headteacher, together with the Deputy Headteacher (a highly respected Special Education Needs/Disability Coordinator, experienced Designated Teacher for Looked After Children, and holds the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers), and the experienced Senior Leaders, the school supports other schools, including those beyond this Local Authority. Support includes pupil premium provision, developing middle leadership and sharing ‘best’ practice including all school teaching and learning reviews. We are also affiliated with the Outwood Teaching School Alliance.
