Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Dari and Pashto speaking job summary

We are currently working with some of the children who have arrived in Rotherham via the Afghan Resettlement Scheme. To support these children and help them settle into our school and thrive, we want to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is able to fluently speak English, Dari and Pashto. The successful candidate would also be expected to work across any of our other schools to support students with similar language needs.

As part of the role, you would be expected to accompany and supervise children on their school bus journey to and from school.

Our ideal candidates will be able to promote positive behaviour and suggest and implement activities which will help develop pupils social and language skills, and self-discipline.

You should enjoy working with young people and have good communication skills.
