What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an amazing Teaching Assistant as an addition to our friendly team. The position will involve working with a specific child or group, as well as supporting other children in the class with their learning. Part of the hours will be supporting the children at lunchtime. The candidate should be calm and caring and able to make a dedicated contribution to sensitively supporting the needs of all our children. Training and experience of working with SEND children (ASD ADHD) is a requirement to ensure our children have the correct support to meet their needs and enable them to thrive. Initially the role will be within our Early Years team.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has had experience of working with children with special needs (ASD/ADHD specifically) within an educational setting

• Is passionate about Early Years, children’s learning and every child achieving their potential

• Has lots of energy, enthusiasm and patience

• Is flexible and can work well within a team

• Has experience of working with children from a range of different backgrounds and with a variety of needs

• Has a sense of humour
