Teaching Assistant Level 2 job summary
Are you enthusiastic, versatile, and looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Finedon school community, dedicated to giving all children unique learning experiences and a Quality First education. We have a small, friendly, and dedicated staff team that is passionate about making a difference to children’s lives and enabling them to reach their full potential. We believe that nurturing a child’s personal development is at the heart of their success and are dedicated to ensuring that each and every child is included in every step of school life.
You should have proven experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally as a Teaching Assistant, and have at least NVQ2 qualifications in both English and Maths. You should have a calm and empathetic approach, be able to demonstrate an excitement for all teaching and learning activities and maintain confidentiality at all times. Training in, or experience of delivering Read Write Inc phonics and of supporting Talk for Writing would be advantageous.
