Teaching Assistant Level 2 job summary
Are you enthusiastic, versatile, and looking for a Teaching Assistant opportunity? We need you in our team!
We are looking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Finedon school community. The role will include some SEN support, one to one and small group work, as well as general whole class support.
You should have proven experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally as a Teaching Assistant, and have at least NVQ2 qualifications in both English and Maths as a good command of reading, writing and numeracy skills is essential. You should have a calm and empathetic approach, be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for all teaching and learning activities and maintain confidentiality at all times. You should be able to demonstrate commitment to our positive school ethos and dedication to giving all children great learning experiences. In return we can offer you training and the opportunity to work as a member of a team of committed and supportive staff, parents, and governors, with friendly, enthusiastic children.
Hours of work - 31 hrs 40 minutes per week 08.35 a.m. – 3.25 p.m. Monday-Friday of each week with 30 minutes for lunch each day. 38 weeks per year
Please note that holidays cannot be taken in term time, but an allowance for holiday entitlement is paid accordingly.
Salary - Grade D, points 3-4, £18,887 - £19,264 per annum FTE (Pro rata for part-time)
