What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors at Greystones Primary School are looking to appoint a temporary TA2 to join our KS2 team from 1st September 2024.

This position will involve working primarily within KS2, supporting children with additional needs to access their mainstream provision.

The successful candidate will:

  • Enjoy working with children with additional needs

  • Have experience supporting children with social communication or other needs

  • Support individual children both in class and out of class where appropriate

  • Feel motivated to work with pupils with a range of strengths and needs to ensure the best outcomes for every child

  • Have a role supervising children during some playtimes and lunchtimes to ensure positive social experiences at school

  • Be an excellent team-player and good communicator

Greystones Primary School is a three-form entry school situated in the south west leafy suburbs of Sheffield, approximately two miles from city centre, serving cosmopolitan and aspirational neighbourhood, with an on-roll number of 632 pupils in June 2024.

Our wonderful Edwardian buildings have undergone significant improvements in recent years, culminating in a major expansion project which was completed March 2016.
