What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to a relocation, the Governing Body of Halfway Junior School is looking to appoint a confident, flexible and energetic Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic and talented team as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated professional, dedicated to providing a high level of teaching support across school, working in partnership with classroom teachers and other TAs, as well as running specific interventions where appropriate. As the school is a small setting, the role is a varied one, from working in classrooms to support lessons, working with small groups, a timetabled role as a 1:1 supporting SEND, lunchtime supervision and supporting with day to day events and activities across school.
Halfway Junior School is a two-form entry Junior School located at the heart of our community in the south of Sheffield.
