TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 job summary
We are in an exciting position and looking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and resilient Level 2 Teaching Assistants. The successful candidates will have evidence of outstanding classroom practice and be able to develop positive relationships, inspire and motivate, engage and challenge learners to achieve.
Candidates should be willing to operate as part of the staff team supporting the learning, wellbeing and personal development of all learners under the direction of Senior Leaders, Teaching and Pastoral staff. Successful candidates may be expected to work in any phase across school, although it is not essential that they have prior experience of each phase. They will be expected to work with learners within the general classroom setting or by providing individual 1:1/small group support.

Landgate School / College is an expanding specialist provision for children with autism, some with challenging behaviour, ages 4-19 years and provides for up to 110 learners. The school has a borough – wide catchment area. Some learners may also have medical conditions that affect their ability to learn.
