Our community is a place where everyone, staff, pupils and parents alike, can feel happy, respected and safe from bullying and discrimination. It is important to us that an individual’s uniqueness can be celebrated, that we are each a valued part of an inclusive team and that our pupils are given all the opportunities needed to reach their full potential. The fundamental aim of Goxhill, East Halton and New Holland C of E/ Methodist Primary School is to develop children as individuals through the provision of a personalised curriculum that is broad and enriching, whilst promoting our Christian values and coming together as one community. Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) and Forest School initiatives operate alongside our curriculum to ensure that we are offering pupils a full and enhancing education through which we strive to support each child in achieving their potential academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Learning is a life-long skill that requires inner strength and a positive mindset, the ability to problem solve and risk assess, the confidence to face challenges head on and the ability to self-reflect: embracing successes and set backs with equal measure.
We pride ourselves on equipping pupils with these skills that they will need for the future; skills that will last a life-time. In particular, we seek to promote our Christian values of compassion, honesty, hope, love, perseverance and respect.
