The successful candidate will therefore:

  • Be approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community
  • Is committed to supporting, motivating and challenging the learning of children of all abilities within the classroom
  • Displays confidence in using a range of behaviour management skills
  • Can work creatively with the Class Teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupil and curriculum
  • Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently
  • Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
  • Is passionate about children’s learning and well-being
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a church school
