Teaching Assistant (Level 2) Term Time plus 5 days (Initially fixed term 12 months) 32.5hrs per week (8:30am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri)

Salary scale 5-9 (Grade 4) - £14,463 - £15,655 pro rata)

Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and popular 11-19 mixed comprehensive school with a rapidly growing roll (currently 746 students).

We are looking to appoint a caring and committed Level 2 teaching assistant. You will be working with a dedicated team to help support students access to teaching and learning. You will experience whole class, small group work and working with individuals on a one to one basis.

We are seeking a friendly and caring person who is able to establish positive working relationships with children and adults. You will have a good standard of general education including Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE grade C or higher or equivalent) and will have achieved a recognised teaching assistant qualification at Level 2 or equivalent.
