- For candidates applying for the SEND positions, experience of the Plan-Do-Review approach for children with SEND needs would be desirable

Further details about the role
Telford Infant School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic and professional Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and hardworking team. We have three positions available all starting on 1st September 2023:
Position 1 - Classroom based Teaching Assistant, next year this will be in Reception - 8.30am to 12noon and 1pm to 3.30pm. Permanent contract.
Position 2 - SEND Teaching Assistant supporting pupils across the school under the direction of our SENDCo - 8.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 3.30pm. Fixed term contract 1st September 2023 to 19th July 2024.
Position 3 - SEND Teaching Assistant supporting pupils across the school under the direction of our SENDCo - 8.30am to 12noon. Fixed term contract 1st September 2023 to 19th July 2024. With optional additional Midday Supervisor role – supporting pupils over lunchtime – 12noon to 1.15pm.
All TA positions are term time only plus 5 INSET days.
The additional, optional Midday Supervisor role is for 38 weeks a year.
Should candidates be interested for further working hours we can also offer Playworker roles at our After School Club and would be happy to discuss this prior to application or at interview.
