We're looking for a dedicated level 2 teaching assistant to join our warm and welcoming team at The Green Way Academy, in Hull .
You're someone who'll be able to:
* Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
* Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
* Provide classroom and phonics support in partnership with teachers.
* Deliver interventions for groups of children or individuals independently.
You're someone who has:
* Motivation and enthusiasm.
* Understanding of pupil's learning needs, including specific SEND needs, in order to support their access to lesson content.
* The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.
* Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.
* A level 2 qualification in a relevant subject is essential, level 3 is advantageous.

We also pride ourselves on keeping pupils safe and happy to learn. Our pupils are well behaved, hard working and kind individuals who enjoy school and making progress. The school has invested greatly in educational recovery since our Covid closures and we were very proud of our results in 2022!
